I am recording narration on Movie Maker (on newest update of Windows Essentials on Windows 8), but it has no sound when I play the video. My microphone is properly installed, and it shows the sound wave of the narration, it just doesn't play any sound at all. The narration volume is turned up, the "Use this device (enable)" is selected under Options/Audio and Video, "Listen to this device" is checked, and the microphone records on every other program (Sound Recorder, etc.). I have tried recording in other programs and it works just fine, even tried importing the audio files into Movie Maker, but it still doesn't play any sound. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
