When I create videos in Movie Maker, I'm realizing that it cuts a frame or two from the beginning of each separate video or clip. This may not seem like a big problem at first, but the thing is that I'm talking in all these videos, and cutting the first couple frames does make a big difference with how the video sounds. For example, take a look at this video:

You'll notice throughout the video how my voice sounds cut off at the beginning of each cut in the video. In the video open in Movie Maker, it doesn't sound this way - it's perfectly fine. But when I export the video to .mp4, some frames are clearly being deleted or silenced from the final product. It's not only cutting out frames from the beginning of each segment, but I also think it's adding extra frames to the ends of the clips, as if it shifted the clip over by a frame or two. Could it be that the source files are .mp4, not .wav? I've tried working with that but I feel like that file type is actually worse than mp4... I'm sure it can't be a hardware issue because my computer has absolutely no trouble saving videos. I also have the latest version of Windows Essentials/MM. I have checked for updates but none were found. I'd like to know if anyone has a fix for this issue, and if you do then thanks in advance.
