Hello. I am currently in the process of converting old VHS-C tapes to a hard drive, and then splitting them to be uploaded to YouTube. I am having a professional photography company convert the tapes to DVD. The DVD contains VOB files, which I copied to my hard drive. I attempted to use Movie Maker to split and trim the 1 GB file into smaller segments. It loads the file, I am able to watch and preview it and even save the project, but when I try to save it in MPEG format it crashes my computer every time. Does this have anything to do with codecs? I'd love some assistance.

My computer is running Windows 7 Pro SP1. My version of MM is 2012 build 16.4.3528.0331. Thank you!
