Movie maker can’t start

I have a windows 7 (home basic) and I have never used a movie maker on my PC. Now I have downloaded a movie maker (latest version) but it says:

"Sorry, Movie Maker can't start. Make sure the computer meets the minimum system requirements before trying to start movie maker again, and then try to update the driver of your card if Movie Maker still doesn't start."

What could have possibly caused this? What do I do (alternatively..?)
my system config.:
3GB RAM
DDI version: 10.1
OS: Windows 7 Home Basic
Processor: intel i3-2310m CPU @2.10GHz
