I made a 30 second video for school and I can't save it in any format...If I click send via email or facebook or literally try to save the movie in any way this is what happens:

click save option "recommended for this project" (for example)

Save to desktop as a MPEG video file

"Saving movie" bar comes up but never progresses for hours....stays at 0

I click "cancel"

It says "Windows Movie Maker has stopped working"

Someone told me that I have to finalize the project...Like it's still in edit mode essentially and she said I have to click "finish project" before it will save but I don't see an option for this.

Please can someone assist me. I have to send it to my prof by tomorrow :S

Thank you.

Edit:

I have a dell xps 12 and my movie maker is the 2012 version
