I am new to Movie Maker.  I have read everything on these discussions and I don't see my problem.  I have videoed a program and no sound comes out.  so I tried recording which I can do.  Then I saw the recording (sound narration) so I tried that but I can't get them to work together.  I clicked on ? for help and it takes me to the website which doesn't have any help.  None of the questions seem to apply to my situation.

I did download the upgrade; but it is from 2012.  My system is Windows 8.1

I also tried Answer Tech and the person was rude and wanted to charge me although my computer is less than a year old

What else can anyone else suggest??????????
