MM2012 missing soundbar with imported videos

Hi, a got a question, hope someone can help me

sorry for bad english since not native-speaking..;-(

I use MM2012 and Windows 7

When I import a short video in MM then I cant see a seperate sound(bar) with it.

Is it possible that I can see it? (or not possible in MM2012? )

I read something about using the + key with that particular video, to make the soundbar appear, but I cant find that on the screen.

Hope someone can answer this question
