I was told (by Dhenz S.) to post a new thread regarding the issue that I'm having with my Outlook.com account. When my (very) old Hotmail account was automatically converted to an Outlook.com account, I lost all of my mail. All folders are empty, and the only email in my inbox was a getting started with Outlook.com message. Nothing could be recovered using the link that most users with missing email problems have been referred to.

This is a major issue, and it seems that I'm not alone. Many, many users have posted the exact same problem to the community, but nobody seems to get their issue resolved. Is this really the final blow to Hotmail account owners, or is there a solution available? I have had my Hotmail account for many, many years, and thus have collected quite a few emails that I don't want to lose.

I would happily provide my email address to any moderator willing to investigate further.
