I have been working on this issue for over a week. Running 8.1 Update and Live Mail will not install, all other Essentials programs install just fine. Finally bought Revo Pro Uninstaller to get rid of residual files etc. but that turns out to be wasted money. Have tried everything I can find on the web. Microsoft's suggestions are worthless. Fortunately I have a copy of 7 on another PC where WLM runs just fine. So I guess I am stuck using it to read my mail. Sad!
