In the past 24 hours I have read a # of question posted to Microsoft forums regarding the exact same matter. Microsoft keeps on brushing the issue off. Giving excuses such as that if you have not logged in to your SkyDrive account in the last 365 days,
it is policy that they delete all documents to free up storage. Everyone responding including me uses there accounts on a regular bases, which makes that excuses unacceptable. Microsoft also dropped the free storage space from 25GB to 7GB, which is fine with
me because I had only 20 doc. or less saved to SkyDrive. Needless to say they were all very important documents to me. According to this link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/skydrive/loyalty under
FAQ #3 states that no files will be deleted in the switch from 25GB to 7GB. There clearly has been a big mistake on the part of Microsoft and they need to take accountability for what is going on and not just trying to sweep this problem under the rug.
This will be an example I will show my kids of the wrong way to take accountability for your actions. People and Companies need to own up to what they have done, admit wrong when they are wrong and work with all their power to make things right in the
end.
MICROSOFT I HOPE YOU LEARN YOUR LESSON SOMEDAY!!
