Just got off the phone with Microsoft after seating on hold for over an hour!!!! Had the worst customer service experience of my life!!! I have been using the Microsoft SkyDrive for a number of years now. SkyDrive in a online storage service that originally offered 25 GB of free storage space. Granted its free but I still trusted this company to secure my files. In the last 48 hours all of my files were deleted from my account with no warning at all!!! After seating on hold for over a hour the multi-billion dollar company tells me that they did nothing wrong and that the files were to difficult to retrieve. These files are extremely important files to my business in order to generate a working class income. Microsoft who has all the money in the world is now making it difficult for me to make a living. I don't understand how a company in the online storage business would have trouble retrieving old files.

In the past 24 hours I have read a # of question posted to Microsoft forums regarding the exact same matter. Microsoft keeps on brushing the issue off. Giving excuses such as that if you have not logged in to your SkyDrive account in the last 365 days, it is policy that they delete all documents to free up storage. Everyone responding including me uses there accounts on a regular bases, which makes that excuses unacceptable. Microsoft also dropped the free storage space from 25GB to 7GB, which is fine with me because I had only 20 doc. or less saved to SkyDrive. Needless to say they were all very important documents to me. According to this link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/skydrive/loyalty under FAQ #3 states that no files will be deleted in the switch from 25GB to 7GB.  There clearly has been a big mistake on the part of Microsoft and they need to take accountability for what is going on and not just trying to sweep this problem under the rug.

This will be an example I will show my kids of the wrong way to take accountability for your actions. People and Companies need to own up to what they have done, admit wrong when they are wrong and work with all their power to make things right in the end.

MICROSOFT I HOPE YOU LEARN YOUR LESSON SOMEDAY!!
