So far I have been pretty much satisfied with Windows 10, but after using if for a couple of weeks I have begun to detect some of its warts. I have found that Mail for Windows 10 offers no way to delete all files in the Junk and Deleted folders. Additionally, I have some unused mail folders that I created that I want to delete and find I cannot do it on this app.

The only work around I have been able to find is to log in to Outlook via the browser and do my housekeeping chores there. This renders the built in Mail Client on Windows 10 useless since you cannot really do anything but send and read mail on it. All cleanup activities I have been accustomed to, in Windows, seemed to have been neglected in this app.

If there is a way to:

1. Delete the entire contents of the Junk and Deleted folders

2. Delete a user created mail folder

Can someone tell me how to do it?
