I have my google mail account coming through Windows Live Mail 2012.  I installed a clean new installation of Windows Essentials on my new computer with Windows 10.  My previous computer had Windows Live Mail 2011 running on Windows 7 set up with POP3 settings and had no trouble, but those same exact settings wouldn't work with the new computer when I manually set them up. So I was forced to use IMAP settings on my new computer.  The new email works fine, EXCEPT all incoming mail on both email accounts comes in showing as read white opened envelopes instead of yellow bold text new mail.  I have turned off my phone mail and it didn't help.  I have been Googling solution options for two weeks now, but can't find anything that helps.  I have unchecked the "mark as read after so many seconds" even though it was checked in old mail set up.  Still no change.  I have also ran a repair on Windows Essentials.  No help there either.  Any suggestions on why new mail is coming in that way and how I can correct it?
