Mac MS Outlook .pst Time Machine backup

Recently I have restored my MacBook Pro. However, I found Time Machine does not back up the MS Outlook pst files. 
In forum, people said Time Machine backup the Outlook emails separately. But I do not know how to restore the email folders. 
If anyone can help step by step, as I am quite frustrated to lost 3 years email for my work!!!
