I think there is probably nothing that can be done about this, but I may as well ask in case!

I have been trying to set up my hotmail/outlook email address to work in Mac Mail, which seemed to be working.  I synced the inbox to my computer, and a few of the emails came through.  I then decided that it wasn't worth the fuss, and I'd just sign in using the online webpage, so I deleted the account from Mail.

When I now login to the Outlook webpage, all of my saved emails in my inbox are gone - not in any of the folders, and I don't have a POP folder they may have moved to.  They're also not on my computer.

Is there anything that can be done to get them back?!

EDIT: Also, under POP this is selected:

Don't let devices or apps delete messages from Outlook. If the app or device is set to delete, Outlook will move the messages to a special POP folder instead.
