I'm sure this question has come up many times before so sorry for repeating it. All of my emails prior to 2010 have been lost (started hotmail account in 2007). Nothing has changed with my account, nor has there ever been a long period of inactivity. As far as I know the account has never been hacked (I use it most days) so I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a set age on emails when MS decide to delete them or if anyone else has experienced this before?

I've asked the same question a while ago but all I was told was that they weren't sure why this happened.
