Hi there,

This morning I wasn't able to get onto my main email account, stating the message: It looks like someone else might be using your account

To help you—and only you—get back into [removed for privacy], we need to verify that it's yours.

I go to select "send code" via text/call to phone, but it has my old number on there, even though I updated it last week . I have to refresh the page a view times for it to show the new number. Once it updates and I can get the code, I copy it into the box and reset my password to something new. New password is accepting then when I go to sign in, it comes up with the page stating "it looks like someone else might be using your account." again and again :(

In the past few days I've only used one device to log into my hotmail. my other hotmail account works perfectly fine. I cant use the old email address on file to verify because it's one that I've never owned and I have no idea why the system thinks it's my saved verifying address. I've completed the questionnaire but it stated there wasn't information. When i go to complete it now, it just comes up with "there is a problem with our server" once I submit. What is going on hotmail?

Any ideas please?

Kind Regards

Richard
