Since yesterday I have been locked out of my Hotmail account. Also my Office, Store and everything else Microsoft related it seems. When I try to log in I get a pop up that says that "Someone else might be using my account and that I need to verify who I am by giving another email address that they can send a "code" number to. I have to date sent them three other email addresses to which no code has been sent. Until today, when I tried to log in (once again) but this time was told that my email address (which I have had since 2010) does not exist. But, after once again giving them an other email address they did send me a "code" which I enter into their verification box and clicked on "next only to be told that someone might be using my account and that I had to verify who I am.

Well, then I decided to contact Microsoft but was only able to talk to someone in India that was only able to transfer me to another number that would hang up on me.  Finally, after searching I found the State side number (1 844 230 6130) which I then called and was answered by..... yes, you guessed it, someone from India. So.............. once again explaining my situation he asked me for my email address and then told me that I was indeed hacked and that he could fix the situation to which I replied "Go f%^K yourself" and then he hung up.

My wife has the seems to have the same issue right now with her work phone. Is something going on with Microsoft? Has it been taken over by the Indian Government?

Anyone have any ideas to what my next step should be or a valid number that I can call?

BTW, I also called the Microsoft Store number (1 877 699 7786) but was directed to a recording that said that number was no longer in use and no new number was available.

Any suggestions???
