I would like to sort photos in a file by the time they were taken as they were taken with different cameras.  I have tried sorting by date, but it sorts it in two groups, one for each camera. 

There was a question similar and someone said to "click on Change view option", but I don't have that in my Live photo gallery on Windows 8.
