First off, I know that Windows Live Photo Gallery (WLPG) is no longer supported, however, I love this program and have not found anything else that works as well.
However, when I got the Windows 10 Fall Creator Update, it quit working. I tried a lot of different things, I'll list those in a moment and waited for the latest, April 2018 update, hoping that would fix the problem. It changed the problem but it still does not work.
When I launch WLPG it will come up with a text box telling me that a picture did not close correctly and would I like to [Try again] or [Close]. Whatever I hit, it will not open correctly. It might come up with the same box again and tell me a different picture is causing the problem but it will not open after several tries. 
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing. I have launched directly from the executable, WLXPhotoGallery.exe. I have tried renaming Pictures to Old Pictures and re-starting. Nothing seems to work.
I am using a Toshiba Satellite C55-A with 4GB Ram and a 500 GB hard drive. I have had this computer for 4 years and it has worked on it previously.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.
