I've just spent over 8 hours on a beautiful Memorial day working on setting up windows live mail to sync accounts with no success.
I have 2 live mail accounts set up on my desk top under 2 separate user ID's. My ISP is Verizon and is a pop3 server.
I just purchased a new lap top. I downloaded windows live essentials to the new lap top in order to use live mail. I was pleased to see that both of my "windows live mail" programs on the 2 separate computers were working and were in sync with one another. Meaning that each computer using live mail is sharing the same contacts and seeing the same e-mails with the same ISP account.
The problem is with the second live mail account on the new laptop. The live mail does work meaning it does send and retrieve e-mails. The problem is this second ISP account will not sync with it's sister live mail on the desk top. The contacts list if not there and the e-mails are not shared/synced.
I've exhausted my patience and the day trying to figure this out. Can anyone help?
