Windows 7 Professional

Windows Live Essentials 2012

All Windows Updates installed

When I add my @hotmail.com email account to my Windows Essentials Mail (WEM), using the 'automatic' settings, everything works perfectly.  The 'Sent Items' folder appears directly below Inbox, and 'Deleted Items' just below that.  Everything syncs up fine, and I can send, receive, delete and move to folders seamlessley.

When I add my wife's @live.com (the same product) email account to WEM, using the automatic settings, the Deleted Items folder is alphabetized with the D's and the Sent Items in the S's.  Neither folder syncs up properly and populates with the deleted and sent items respectively.

I logged into each account through a browser to confirm that the POP option was the same for both accounts.

I researched this problem (over three days spent now) and here are the additional steps I've taken:

- Disable all anti-virus and try.  (Nope)

- Uninstall Windows Live Essentials and re-install.  (Nope)

- A complete 'clean' uninstall from the command prompt using the wlarp.exe /cleanup:all option

- Manually configure my wife's account using IMAP settings. (This kinda worked, but sending doesn't - IDK why)  Just FYI used this info: Link

Basically, I know it's not my WEM because my @hotmail.com email works fine.  So it has to be something in my wife's @live.com account settings.  But I can't find what on-line setting to make it work seamlessly.

I was prepared to pay for Microsoft paid support to have a support session (one-on-one) on my PC.  But there is NO Microsoft support for Hotmail or Windows Live Essentials.

Any help would be appreciated.
