Hi!

I uploaded a bunch of photos. Since they were NEF they could not be edited with Photo Gallery, so I found online that you could go to the command window and put ren *NEF *.jpg to change the batch file extension. I did this and they still could not be edited. I then went to Make a Copy to do each one individually like I normally do, and it still didn't work. In properties it says that my files are .jpg, but it still tells me to go to Make a Copy and make a .jpg copy. I tried uploading one photo to Facebook and it showed up small, poor quality, and with black edges on each side, which is not at all how it looks on my computer. I have already deleted the originals off of my card and tried free card recovery which apparently is not free and did not even show the files I was looking for. Any explanation or help getting my files to the right format- NEF or a normal .jpg- would be much appreciated!
