I am not technically minded but following my upgrade to window10 and the problem I had with Window Live Mail that would not opened when clicked, I have decided to remove W.L.M. and reinstall W.L.M. 2012. And when I tried to open W.L.M. it worked fine and no information was lost.  Hope this will help somme other guys.
