Yet again I am having issues with Windows Live Mail and it appears the only alternative is to uninstall the program and then re-install afresh.

But Microsoft no longer offers support for this program and it cannot even be downloaded from the Microsoft website. 

If I uninstalled the program, how then could I reinstall it?  Are their any reliable third-party download sites where the program could be downloaded?  Does anyone know?
