My mother is having problems with her windows live mail. When she clicks on a document she wants to send and right-clicks to send that document as an email, the window for sending the email pops up, but when she tries to address the document the name disappears and she is back to square one. She is also getting an occasional server not connected message, but I have it set so she is connected even when she is online (in the Options menu we changed that so it doesn't say do not connect.) She likes right clicking on the files and sending that way rather than opening Windows Live Mail, starting a new email and attaching. It is easier for her to right-click and send it from the thumbnails of the documents.
It could be the server is misconfigured, but I haven't figured out where in Windows Live mail you can find the server settings. I myself, use Outlook for my email and this I like. I don't prefer WLM, but she does and I am trying to help her through this. She has a live mail account and a gmail account, nothing too complicated, and Windows 10 with the November update. The problems started a while back before we upgraded to Windows 8. She lives in a damp climate and I don't know if her house wiring is part of the problem or not. This server problem seems to come and go with the changes in the weather.
