- When did you start experiencing this issue?
- Since you are getting an error message when you are opening your Windows Live Mail, we'd like to request a screenshot of the entire error message. You may use Snipping Tool for sending a screen capture. To learn how, click here.
- Did you make any changes in your Windows Live Mail prior to this issue?If yes, kindly prove more information.

I am having the same problem reported by Chet. Each time I open Windows Live Mail, new emails are downloaded and displayed without problems, but then a window is displayed with an error message saying that "there was an error when attempting to connect to the Mail Calendar service."
In answer to your points above:-
*The problems first appeared a few weeks ago. I never used the Calendar Service, and do not need to use it.
* I am attaching a screen grab of the error message window
* I do not recollect having made any changes to Windows Live mail prior to this issue.
I would be extremely grateful if you offer me a remedy for this frustrating issue.
