I don't know quite how to describe my problem. When I add an mp3 file to a video, the music is kind of out of sync with itself. Like, when I play, pause, then play again from where I pause it, the music kind of skips back a few seconds. This happens with all mp3 files, but not other kinds of music files.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled windows essentials, and the problem remains. I am confused, as I have been editing videos in this way using mp3 files for a few months now, and this has not happened before.
