In reviewing my 2-year-old Hotmails I see that something called Window Live Spaces was converting to Word Press on March 16, 2011.  As I understand it, this was exchanging 1 blog service for another.  I've never used either but now I may be interested in blogging (I have experimented with Google blogging).   Is Word Press still connected with Windows Live, does my Windows Live ID work with this, and do I find it on Outlook, etc.?

And is Word Press superior to Google's blogging?
