is there some reason why, after 8 years using internet, that MS is now requiring I sign in each time I turn on my p.c. to use HOTMAIL?

For the 8 years I have been using the internet/HOTMAIL, I never had to "sign in" in order to access my HOTMAIL. NOW, for some unexlplained reason, I am forced to SIGN IN each time I turn on my p.c. to use HOTMAIL. How come you people had to "fix a problem which didnt  exist"? By fixing the nonexistant problem you have only CREATED one more ANNOYANCE in the already existing QUAGMIRE of using the internet.
