Ok here is my take on the merging 2 accounts.  My scenario is that I used my work email to create my first Outlook.com account (25gb) and then I created a second Outlook.com com account under my personal email address (7gb).  Was not aware at the time of creating aliases (bad on me). I too want to keep my 25GB of storage. My plan (risky as it seems) is to close my 7gb Account and then add it as a new email address and alias under my 25GB account.  I would then change the primary to that email address and ultimately remove my work email altogether.  So. here is the big question. Once I close an outlook.com account how long must one wait before being able to recreate that account as an alias to my 25gb account.  Is that even possible? I am aware that I will lose all data associated with my personal (7gb) account (which I have already backed up.) I am concerned primarilly that in my reading of closing account, that MS indicates that one has 365 days to reinitiate the account. does this mean they reserve that email address fro 365 days from anyone taking it, or that once it closes, it is available to be taken by anyone and if it is available within 365 days, once can get it back?
