My outlook.com account was one of the many affected by the recent service disruption. I noticed this morning that I am not receiving any new mail on my iphone syching with my outlook.com account (its been two days for me with no mobile email). I've tried
rebooting my phone, restarting the mail app, deleting and re-adding my account in the mail app settings, etc. Nothing has worked. My account validates and I get my folder list and other data, but my inbox is not synching. I went into the sent-mail folder
and it did grab some of those messages, but no matter what I do it will not sync the inbox. Its just stuck on "checking for mail" and the spinner goes nuts in the status bar, but it never finishes or gets anywhere. The system status page shows no problems
for my account, but clearly there are still problems. Looking in the community here, I'm not the only one still having these problems. When I logon to my mailbox through a web browser all my mail is there, but I'm just not getting anything on my phone.
