So, i just started editing a video and i was quite a bit into it and had been splitting a lot of clips before this problem happened. But then, when i started editing the video the next day, the first time i tired to split a clip it just deleted a whole giant section of clips after it, but left just a little bit of the ending. I don't know how to fix this, but all i can think to do is to save it as a movie and try editing it again(which would take a really long time, since the movie is really long). PLEASE RESPOND QUICKLY!
