Hello I am trying to import all my contacts to outlook.com. There are thousands, gathered over the years. I have them in various formats, all consolidated into one csv file I am trying to import. I exported a file from outlook.com so I got the field headings, put these into my csv file and I have tested with a file containing a couple of contacts and it works fine. When I do it with the big file I get the following error message:-

Phone numbers and websites can only contain English characters (a-z or A-Z), numbers (0-9), and specific symbols (such as @). Please try again.

I can't find anywhere that tells me exactly what characters it allows and which throw an exception. I have numbers with all kinds of formats - +1, +(1), +1-555-5555 etc etc.   The "such as" is not very helpful. Before I spend more hours on trial and error, does anyone know exactly what outlook.com will accept and what it won't ? Thanks very much
