I would like to be able to edit a photo in Win 7 Essentials Photo Gallery and then save the changes.

My current Machine is Win 7 Home Premium with Essentials. From what I have read on line it looks like some have been able to save photo edits in Live Photo gallery. I am about to switch to Win 7 Prof with XP mode. Can I uninstall Essentials and go backwards to Liive?
