I up graded to windows 10 and now cannot send or receve my Windows Live Mail have tried all fixes that are posted on help on Microsoft HELP

I upgraded my computer to Windows 10 now I can't send or receive my Windows Live Mail

I am getting error Msg. ox800cccof. I have tried several fix's on help pages bot none of them

work. Have not uninstalled and re install for fear of losing all of my contacts and mail
