I may be in the wrong forum so if I am, I apologize. Here is my question in the hopes that someone has an easy walk around.
My mother is 95 years old and almost totally deaf; she has limited hearing in her right ear. To speak to her we have to be an inch from her ear and literally shout. What I would like to do if possible is use a good headset for her and hook up a stand alone microphone for us, as a group to talk to her. If she can hear us, she is capable of speaking and all of us would be much blessed. I have the audacity program but don't know if that will do the job. I tested the microphone and the headset but they are not "married" so to speak. My laptop is an HP 6730B but I don't think that means much for this type of application. Is this possible?
I thank you in advance.
