Seriously man, I have the same issues here. Okay, I haven't logged into my old hotmail.com and msn.com e-mail accounts for a while until just now, and as a matter of fact I never really paid attention even when hotmail was converted into outlook. Now I
just logged into my old e-mail accounts, everything is gone. All my e-mails received from and sent to my friends and family, some crucial documents saved in my accounts - ALL GONE. It's like yay fresh new start F**K NO. Now, I can't even receive new e-mails
- they are just NOT coming into these accounts. So, I surfed to see what the **** was wrong and found this thread and read all you customer service rep peeps' replies here and I am pretty sure that you guys are as much lost as I am. All your replies provide
no solutions to any of the problems addressed in this thread. In other words, you guys just don't know anything to help users out man. I mean, who does not know how to transfer data from one e-mail account to another huh? And who does not know how to restore
a damn message that one deleted from a trash box or a deleted message folder? And this is probably the most f**ked up part I think but since when hotmail (or outlook as it is now) started to automatically delete all the contents from an account due to inactivity?
I have been using hotmail.com (or outlook as it is now...) more than 15 years now, and this sounds so goddamn new to me. I have multiple accounts, and some of them I don't even log in for more than a year but everytime I log in, everything used to be there.
Now you guys telling me that if the account is not accessed for more than a year, everything is deleted automatically? Now that's really really f**ked up man. I really mean it. Never heard that Google ever does that type of messed up ****. I already have written
a feedback via my outlook account regarding the new look or this whole stupid outlook thing but I'd like to stress this one more time. This whole new Outlook thing, is probably the biggest colossal failure ever by MS (and Windows 8 is in the 2nd place)...
I wonder whose idea it was but whoever it was needs to get punched in the face like a hundred times so he or she gets the message that IT WAS NOT A SMART MOVE. I mean, do you guys even check how many the old hotmail users are baffled and complain about this
new stupid outlook thing?
