I spent two days trying to install Live Mail.  Each time I found the download from Microsoft, it would sit on "Preparing installation" and after an hour I had to force quit it.  Frustrating enough.  Then today, it finally got past that screen and asked which elements I wanted to install.  I chose Live Mail only.  It went through the installation process but I can't find anything in the All Programs menu that indicates it was installed.  I had installed Quicktime a day or two ago and that was still highlighted as any new program is in the All Programs menu would be.  But no Windows Live Mail, Live Mail, Mail, etc.  Nothing.

I'm running Windows 7 on a Macbook Pro under Bootcamp and sometimes as a virtual machine using Parallels.  I did the installation while running Windows 7 in Parallels.

I'm editing this post because I just looked in the Program Files and the Program Files (x86) folders and they both have a folder called Windows Mail.  Everything looks exactly the same in each.  They both have two executables, WAB.exe and WABMIG.exe, neither of which opens an email program.

Thanks for any help.

Best,

Craig
