I have a question also

I have removed the clips I do not want for my movie,it has a yellow sign with "!",and every time I try to edit my video to add pics,it wont let me,it goes all the down to the bottom,instead of where I want it. Is there a way to fix this? Or do I have to restart my movie over from scratch?
