Have Vista 32 Home Premiumwith SP2 with ample disc space.
Had issues with Windows Live Mail 2011, but did the removal and reinstall.
The only thing that is important that does not function is that I have NO archived e-mail folders (e-mails that have importance that were sorted into specific folders and subfolders)
I tried the %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail and discovered a number of folders. Unfortunately, there is minimal in them and none of the folders that were in place on my pc.
Note: The Windows Live Mail used to work great before all the inability to update any Windows functions, Live Mail, or any Office functions. Consequently, did a clean install of Vista 32 bit home premium ultimate with SP2. Then reloaded Windows Live Essentials (Are on the fourth complete uninstall and new install --multiple issues on each of the last attempts to reload Windows Live Mail)
Windows Live Mail works great now, but I have no access to files "stored on my PC"
All of the archives are not there.
Noted- C:\Users\AppData\Local\Microsoft Windows Live Mail\Storage folders\Recovered items has a large number of files in it. ?? How to get these files accessible through Windows Live Mail.
Need to be able to file additional items in specific folders and view information in the folders.
Is there a way to identify and isolate archived files in Windows Live Mail that were present before the Windows Vista clean load earlier this spring? it would seem to be an easier method to restore function. (Have a full backup of data from before Vista removal and install)
Thanks in advance--
Gene
