Can't get to open or install the Movie Maker for Windows 7!  HELP!

It says that Windows Essential 2012 is installed, however the Movie and or Photo Gallery are not installed!  I've uninstalled, fixed, etc... and yet nothing! I'm in dire need to immediate help, please as I am trying to edit and do the fade in and out on my vid.
