I have tried everything, including on-line chats via outlook.com on facebook, but I get this every time I try to close the account:

"Our server is having a problem. We're working to fix it as soon as we can, so try again in a few minutes."

I cant leave the account inactive as you've advised, as something is stuck on it which auto-forwards every email & which cannot be stopped, so it has to be closed down. As you have advised, I have cleared the cache, sorted silverlight, checked browser type... I just want to close the account!

Which you advised me to do & now you've told me to repost this here.

I have logged on twice today & tried to close it again, still the same. This has been the same for days. There have been problems with this account since January.
