Since the problems with skydrive and outlook I haven't been able to sync my outlook account on my iphone 5 or ipad 3 - it just comes up with cannot get mail the connection to the server failed.
I have tried deleting the account and re-installing it but no luck. All other accounts are okay including (oddly enough) two other Hotmail accounts. I assume the problem is just restricted to outlook?
I can access outlook through exchange on my computer (albeit with the usual 'limited connectivity' message!) and also can access it through my browser.
I know the status page says everything is up and running but clearly this is not the case - I await a more realistic appraisal of the current situation rather than the blanket silence which seems to exist at the moment!
