I have windows 8.1 and have downloaded Windows Essentials in order to get Movie Maker. I've checked on line about inserting transitions between clips, but the procedure described (click on the 2nd clip, go to TOOLS and then click TRANSITIONS), but the word "transition" is nowhere to be found in the Video Tools window. Could it be that the new version can not use transitions? If so, how can this app call itself a movie editor?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated!
