I am swapping from an old account to an outlook account and have tried to configure the live mail,

However it will not send or receive mail, can not figure out if the smtp is wrong or not as when I change it to 995 it tries to work as per below

  1. Click on Accounts.
  2. Click Email.
  3. In the Add your email accounts window, enter in the following:
    • Email address: Rogers Yahoo! email address.
    • Password: the App Password you created.
      • Selecting Remember password is optional, but if it isn’t selected, you will have to enter your password every time you send or receive an email.
    • Click on the Manually configure server settings button and click Next.
  4. In the Internet Email Settings window, enter the following information:
    • Incoming Server information
      • Server Type: POP3
      • Server address: pop.broadband.rogers.com
      • Port: 995
      • Authenticate using: Clear Text
      • Logon user name: full Rogers email address.
    • Outgoing server information
      • Server address: smtp.broadband.rogers.com
      • Port: 465

could not figure out the broadband reference in the POP so I used pop.outlook.com
