Firstly I discovered that my contacts were duplicated a few days ago. I could not find a solution to this so started deleting the duplicate records only to discover that I was deleting records with data and notes added on. I stopped and having read some stuff on this forum about recovering deleted data I recovered it by going in to outlook on a different browser. It has now come to my notice that the vast majority of contacts do not have the information I have been recording over the last 4 months and this includes diary notes and scheduled activity that I have diarised. Today I stopped using the contacts when I discovered that after updating a contact with details of a conversation I had and scheduled an action for later, that when I selected Save it actually deleted the record. I thought I had selected the delete button by mistake but it did it again later when I carefully selected the Save button.
I have now lost faith in the system and don't want to use it until I know I can trust it again. Is there any way of recovering the data that I have lost which I have built up over the last 4 months? Where is this backed up to? Is there a contact number in the UK that I can ring to speak with a human being about it? I would be very grateful if I was provided with a satisfactory solution.
Many thanks
