Hi

I have a problem in that i live and work in Vietnam where many people share the same name. 

I find that outlook.com merges contacts with the same name without asking. 

I have 5 people i know by the name Nguyen Van Trong and they now all 5 share one contact "card" in outlook and for the life of me i do not know which phone number belongs to who. Or which address. or which email....

Q: how do i unmerge these contacts?

Q2: howdo i stop outlook from doing this?

Oh: to add insult to injury it does ask me if i want to delete some people from this merge. It then presents all 5 Nguyen Van Trongs with the helpful note that they are all from inside outlook. What happens if i click on that? are they then moved into a separate contact? deleted? what?
