Hope you may be able to help...
I recently had to rebuild my system and now my Live Mail is working differently from how it used to.
I now receive duplicate emails, when before I didn't.
I am now using Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3508.0205).
I have a primary email address and another email address which is an alias of the primary.
In Live Mail I have separate accounts for each address, and so I have a separate in-box for each address.
I need to keep them separate for operational reasons. (just for example, I have some registrations using one address, and some registrations using the other)
The problem:
Any email sent to the primary address will arrive in both in-boxes.
Any email sent to the alias address will arrive in both in-boxes.
I don't understand why it used to work correctly before, but not now.
Perhaps there is a flag or a setting that I have missed.
I have discussed it with my service provider, and they believe that my account configurations are (still) correct, as far as they can see.
Thanks, Rod
