I used window 7 and Windows Live Mail in the past years. I back up by copying the whole Windows Live Mail folder to a harddrive (using the directory path: Users<windows id>AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindows Live...). When I move to a new computer, I simply copy the whole folder to replace the Windows Live Mail folder under the same directory path with my backup folder. By this way, I can simply restore all my emails in the new computer. However, now I am using Windows 8. I just downloaded Windows Live Mail 11 and installed it to my current computer. However, I can't find a similar working directory like that under Windows7. I searched up and down the whole C drive, but I am not sure which directory shall I copy to. Can anyone tell me the directory path for Windows Live Mail so I can do the same thing to restore all my old mails to the current win8 system? Many thanks!
