I inadvertently selected opening My Pictures files without subfolders in Photo Gallery, by right clicking on "select without subfolders".  Now my files do not appear on the screen in folders, (to be clicked open, to view the images or additional subfolders).  Rather, the images appear on the screen immediately but are sorted in groupings per my file index under My Pictures. 

I thought this might be a toggle switch to de-select and go back to the original setting of opening with only folders showing.  It isn't a toggle switch. 

I tried to create a new folder, and the new files are treated the same (no folder display). 

I Have Photo Gallery 2012.

Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix?
